I've just overheard Ron Paul being talked about in the office... I've never said a word about him except to one colleague.
People are talking... and it's all positive. I'm surprised, but shouldn't be... Paul's message is so appealing to all of us who want common-sense leadership with integrity.

Ron Paul's Abortion Stance
As a doctor who has delivered thousands of babies Ron Paul understands abortion on a medical level better than most politicians. And for this reason Paul is against abortion. But he's not a pro-lifer in the modern-Republican sense either... Instead he believes it is a state issue. He would leave it to the citizens of each state to decide for themselves to what degree and under what circumstances abortion should be practiced.
This is yet another reason why Paul is highly electable. He's not a flip-flopper who panders to the Right or Left. He just uses principled common-sense judgement to create responsible policies.

The US Government is infested with cancerous growths, bloated bureaucratic leviathans, cronnie capitalists sucking the government teet, and ill-gotten powers that infringe on personal liberties. Only Dr. Ron Paul has the courage and expertise to remove these parasites...
The Department of Homeland Security with 185,000 employees and $44.6 billion dollar yearly budget, that does very little to actually secure the homeland.
The IRS and the Income Tax, which complicate, harass, and extort from US citizens and businesses.
The Federal Reserve that steals your wealth by printing more and more money, making the dollars you have worth less everyday.
The Defense Contractors that extract billions from the American taxpayers each year for unnecessary gizmos and war machines.
The Patriot Act, that expands Executive power to dangerous and unwarranted levels.
The Drug War that costs billions and incarcerates hundreds of thousands of non-violent offenders that could be dealt with in much more effective and efficient ways.
Pork, pork, and more pork. Ron Paul is nicknamed 'Dr. No' because as a Congressman he never votes for any spending that's not stipulated in the Constitution.
The list goes on and on.
No other presidential candidate has the guts to rein in these out-of-control government excesses. Most of these entities have been created within the last 50 years and are contrary to the intent and design of the founding fathers.
Only Ron Paul will secure our borders, downsize government, and increase liberty and economic prosperity for all Americans.

The reaction to the showdown between Rep. Ron Paul and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has been fascinating. Paul suggested that the recent history of U.S. foreign policy endeavors overseas may have had something to do with terrorists' willingness to come to America, live here for several months, then give their lives to kill as many Americans as possible.
Perhaps, Paul suggested, the 15-year presence of the U.S. military forces in Muslim countries may have motivated them. For that, Giuliani excoriated him, calling it an "extraordinary statement," adding, "I don't think I've heard that before."
Let's be blunt. Giuliani was either lying, or he hasn't cracked a book in six years.
The "blowback" theory isn't some fringe idea common only to crazy Sept. 11 conspiracy theorists. It doesn't suggest that we "deserved" the Sept. 11 attacks, nor does it suggest we shouldn't have retaliated against the people who waged them.
What it does say is that actions have consequences. When the Arab and Muslim world continually sees U.S. troops marching through Arab and Muslim backyards, U.S. trade sanctions causing Arab and Muslim suffering and U.S. bombs landing on Arab and Muslim homes, it isn't difficult to see how Arabs could begin to develop a deep contempt for the U.S.

Others have since joined Buchanan, Ryn, and the other conservatives and libertarians who were denounced as "unpatriotic" by David "Axis of Evil" Frum, the neocon enforcer of political correctness, in the pages of National Review – when he announced that he and all good little movement (neo)conservatives would henceforth "turn our backs" on those perfectly awful "unpatriotic conservatives."

Poor Jeff Jacoby
A recent smear on Ron Paul by wanna-be libertarian Jeff Jacoby over at the Boston Globe illustrated not only how much of an intellectual midget this Jacoby is, but also how important Paul is to this presidential race.
Jacoby groups Paul with mainstream Democrats and laments that they don't understand the gravity of "The War Against Terror" (TWAT). However, Ron Paul's security strategy is very straight-forward and sensible. The US will be much safer following a non-interventionist foreign policy wherein we foster economic growth throughout the world with trade while securing our borders at home. This is not the strategy of any mainstream Democrats and the comparison is enough to question Jacoby's senses. It makes you worry for the man... Is he able to feed and clothe himself?
